But that doesn't work for the people with the dead_tilde's etc if they
haven't got a Multi_key on the keyboard. So we need the find out
whether this is true.. I cannot personally check this because I have
neither AIX nor XFree with a non-US keyboard... I guess we should go
to dejanes and mail the people who have complained (most complainted
are in the de.* newsgroups which you probably do not read).

I'm  not sure. The naming of these keys seems to seems to sugest
dead_key always (like they are on german typewriters). However most
people seems to be content with the solution of binding them to
self-intert before x-compose was updated.

I got one user who mailed me about it. There are apperently modes with
a C-~ keybinding. I think it is much less inportant though.
