(The patch below wasn't in Stockholm. I am not sure whether Steve has
included it newer beta's. If so please notice that the names of the
XFree86 keysyms are correct in this version. They weren't in the patch
I sent Steve).

If you fall under one of the categories mentioned in the subject could
please apply this patch and try using x-compose. Please back out any
changes you may have made to get rid of the dead-key problem before.
(Try using AucTeX's C-c ~ key-binding and C-h <dead key or composekey
combination> ).

This patch brings one of the first input methods (buzzword!) for XEmacs
(x-compose.el) into the modern world of function-key-map (see a
discussion about this subject between jwz and me about this in
comp.emacs.xemacs). I have also added the XFree86 keysyms.
Unfortunately I cannot test it since I only use US keyboards.

P.S. I think Heiko's patch can be backed out now that is using
function-key map
P.P.S. jwz tried to autoload this. Can we have this included on Latin1
emacsen automatically somehow.
