Subject: horizontal scrolling behaviour
X-Mailer: VM 6.32 under 20.3 "Athens" XEmacs Lucid (beta10)

Something seems to have changed regards horizontal scrolling
recently. I don't know if it's a change in the program or if my
configuration's different to to changes in the customization setup.
If I press End on a truncated line, the cursor moves to the RH edge of
the window. Pressing End again moves to the end of the line.

This isn't such a problem. The problem comes if I use M-% to do a
conditional replace; I can't see what's about to be replaced, and if I
press End or C-PgDn to scroll the line, the operation terminates.

I keep my frame split into 2 side by side windows, and have
truncate-partial-width windows set to t.

Any suggestions?
