I had no idea that compiled byte-code could be refered to as a vector,
and is very surprised that AUC TeX does so.  I don't see why the other
packages in the list would need to do that.

Are you sure it isn't some library function, such as `defadvice',
which does it?  In that case you just god a list of packages using
`defadvice' or whatever the name of the guilty library function is.
