I reported this too, and Martin posted back saying that we should just 
use -compiler=cc . (Or /opt/SUNWspro/bin/cc if it ain't near the
front of your path.)

-> "-with-gcc" is an option that should really be deprecated.  Specifying 
-> compiler and cflags via command line switches or environment
-> variables is the way to go.
