Well just to step in the defence of the version string. We are not
talking about a distributed version here.. We were taliking about me
trying to keep my CVS tree current with Hrvoje's massive onslaught of
patches. I think having the version number in the file is very
practical at that. (the -rcs- bit in the variable name just tells
people to not manually increase it)
I don't mind leaving out the keywords, but I thought it was supposed to
keep live simpler when you have two revision trees (Steve's and mine)
to keep in sync.

Anyway I am having trouble keeping up anyway because of increased workload.

Is anybody using the more fancy gnuserv-frame settings. I would like
to use 'gnuserv-visible-frame-function' but the visibility stuff still
isn't reliable enough.
