SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

             Solar activity was low. Region 7515 (N14W16) continued
       to produce small flares throughout the day. The region has
       remained relatively unchanged. Regions 7518 (S10E45) and 7519
       (N04E63) also produced a few small flares.

            Solar activity forecast:  solar activity is expected to be
       low to moderate. Region 7515 is still the most likely source
       of M-class flares.

            The geomagnetic field was quiet.

            Geophysical activity forecast:  the geomagnetic field is
       expected to be quiet to unsettled.
