SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

             Solar activity was low. Region 7515 (N15W03) remains the
       largest and most complex sunspot group on the disk. It has
       shown frequent plage fluctuations but has not produced any
       significant flares. The other regions are small and inactive by
       comparison. New Region 7519 (N04E74) was numbered.

            Solar activity forecast:  solar activity is expected to be
       low to moderate. Most activity should occur in Region 7515.

            The geomagnetic field was quiet.

            Geophysical activity forecast:  the geomagnetic field is
       expected to be quiet to unsettled.
