SYNOPSIS OF ACTIVITY
--------------------

             Solar activity was low. Only a few small flares
       from a number of different regions occurred since yesterday.
       All regions are small and relatively simple. Region 7430
       (N08W40) has been growing and was responsible for most of the
       observed flares. Region 7433 (N12E34) remains the largest
       group but it has decayed and appears magnetically simple.

            Solar activity forecast:  solar activity is expected to be
       low.

            The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.

            Geophysical activity forecast:  the geomagnetic field is
       expected to be quiet to unsettled. Activity may begin to
       increase on the third day due to a recurrent disturbance.
