Any noble there is liable to attack without warning. In particular, any noble not present at the express invitation of the Foriegn Minister of the Crimson Dragons is considered by the Crimson Dragons to be a hostile noble, and will be attacked without warning. Express invitation means that he will say, "Come to this place and do this thing now." All offers to join the Crimson Dragons or to attack our supposed enemies are rejected unless specifically approved by our Foriegn Minister. If he doesn't say Yes, then he probably means No. It is not our desire to attack neutral or "newbie" factions, we consider that a waste of valuable noble-days, but we are at war (which we also consider a waste of vaulable noble-days), despite our desires to the contrary, and as such we will fanatically defend the integrity of our claimed lands. As I have recently come into speaking power of this alliance certain citizens of Arrnor have come under what I personally consider harrassment by a fellow faction and alliance with whom Arrnor was/and is to this day at war with. That alliance is the LOTC. Arrnor does not know who owns the offending noble. On Turn 136 our lands were visibly invaded by a noble. The noble's name went beyond any game boundaries and into a personal attack against a real life player of Olympia 2. The offending noble was not visible to person intended it was rather visible to another alliance member of Arrnor who has since left the game. Below is what was seen which has now only come into my hands as Speaker for Arrnor. I now pass it onto you the community of Olympian Two players in the hope that you will know with whom you deal when you deal with the LOTC. The Alliance of Arrnor do not approve/condone or wish to know the owner of this noble. We do not want contact with the offending alliance in any personal emails or public emails because of this disclosure. Arrnor does not have and do not want any diplomatic contacts with LOTC. Arrnor at this point in time confirms again that it is at war with the LOTC and will remain so. The targetted faction of Arrnor that I, Speaker for Arrnor consider has been harrassed is. This noble above made the action on Arrnor lands which we can show proof of. This is the problem. When Arrnor's enemies with whom Arrnor is not in contact with nor consider friends with start naming their nobles after the REAL life name of a player and enact attacks against Arrnor's members. It has transgressed into a personal attack meant to cause harm. It is readily apparent that there is a breakdown in gameplay and where harrassment is beginning. For those of you who will tell me that I am a blowhard I ask if any of you have met me in rl and therefore can speak as to what mine or mine alliance members feelings are. You cannot say that therefore you cannot say you were jesting with anyone. You meant to anger/harm/or strike in a personal manner as naming your invading nobles in mockery of a real life player. Lord Maltar posted an email to the G2-list on Jan. 28, 1999 showing a battle which also included the offending noble. > > 1: al'Lan Mandragoran [7936] is victorious! We have also in private email been informed of another name that this noble went by at one point in his life. R2D2 [7936], "Help me master Luke , help me!!" With information either made public or thru our friends we show that the offending faction has renamed his noble a minimum of three times in one year's playing time. This willingness to change the noble's name shows it was a premeditated move in which they knew what they wished to accomplish when the noble "Hi Marty" was seen in enemy lands. Arrnor does not believe this was a coincidence nor a harmless gesture. In closing, as I, Speaker for Arrnor have recently come into power for this alliance I am as of now make public to every player what has transpired against an alliance member of mine. Our allies already know what the LOTC are capable of we now make public to the rest of the game populace. Knowing that we do not have a public watcher and expect no response from the gamemaster, even though we do feel the offending player blasted past the bounds of legal gameplay with their intentions we simply make public for everyone including the gamemaster.
