surrond is defined as a phase shifted signal, so mono surround without
using the surround channel is left channel = right channel inverted.
(if i got francois dion's readme right) but if u use a gus, u got some
delay (phase shifting is NOT frequency dependent, it alway turns it round)
that results from the gus updating the channel setups internally.
ne1 tried something, to make effects out of it? i tried to, but its kinda
weird... the delay becomes longer, when the two channels u use to overlay
are more distant (eg. channel 2 + 8 is more delay than 2 + 4)
