This directory contains the complete MAEstro User's Guide in
PostScript form. The User's Guide consists of the following:

* Seven chapters and an appendix
* Cover page
* Preface
* List Of Figures
* Table of Contents

The files that comprise the User's Guide all have a suffix of ".ps.Z";
each file is a compressed, PostScript file. If you are not familiar
with "compress", "uncompress", or "zcat", please ask your system
administrator for help in printing these files.

The PostScript files are quite large due to the number of graphics in
them. Here are the compressed and uncompressed sizes of each file:

Because of the size of the uncompressed files, your printer spool
directory may not be large enough to hold a copy of the file you are
trying to print.  You can do two things to help;

1) Make sure you print only one file at a time
2) Try using "lpr -s"; this makes a symbolic link instead of copying
   the file into the spool directory. This option may not work if
   your printer is on a remote computer.

If you have problems printing any of the files, please send mail to

	maestro@sioux.stanford.edu

We will do whatever we can to help you print the documents you need.
Please describe the printer you are using; these files were generated
with FrameMaker, which (for us, anyway) tends to give DEC PostScript
printers trouble. And mention which file(s) caused problems when
printing.
