This is Linktool 2.0 by Dave Broman of the Geometry Center.

In order to compile Linktool you need to have DEC's Scheme->C compiler
installed. (If you don't have this you can get a precompiled binary
copy of Linktool on the Internet from host geom.umn.edu in the file
pub/Linktool-bin.tar.Z.)

If you do have Scheme->C, edit Makefile.preamble to change the
references to the "schemetoc" directory to be correct for your system,
then type "make".

To create a Linktool.app directory that you can move to an installed
location (e.g. /LocalApps), type "make Linktool.app". Be sure to keep
the contents in Linktool.app there, and not move them. (But you can
move the entire directory anywhere you want.) Linktool expects the
.nib files and LinktoolHelp to reside in the same directory it's in.
You can start Linktool by double-clicking on the Linktool.app icon in
the Workspace.

The directory "links" contains a few example files you can load into
Linktool. This directory can be anywhere on the file system.
