This is release 0.7 of GNU diction and style, free implementations of old
standard unix commands, that are not available on many modern systems,
because they have been unbundled. Diction prints wordy and commonly
misused phrases. Style analyses surface characteristics of a document,
e.g. sentence length and various readability measures.

Both commands support English and German documents.

Please verify the readability formulas Fog, WSFT, Wheeler-Smith, Lix
and SMOG. I got some of them from someone's thesis that also contained a
mistake in the Flesch formula. The manual page documents all formulas,
so you can check them without looking at the C source. Style lacks
sentence type, word usage and sentence beginning processing.
