        <span class="articleSubHeading">Special Reports</span>
        <p>To display a special report enter one of these special search terms in the search box, and press [Go]:</p> <ul>
          <li><b>#ssx_status#</b>&nbsp;&nbsp; View index status and tuning summaries.</li>
          <li><b>#ssx_cfg#</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; View the current configuration settings.</li>
          <li><b>#ssx_log#</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; View the search results log.</li>
          <li><b>#ssx_about#</b>&nbsp;&nbsp; Register program and check
          for updates.</li>

        </ul>

        <span class="articleSubHeading">Results</span>
        <p>Shared file citations are shown with a double document icon.</p>
        <p>Each file citation shown is also a clickable link.
           Clicking on a link should launch your SourceSafe Explorer (tm) client
           with the window open at the project containing the file.</p>
        <p>If this does not happen check with your support group that
           the 'sstp' component has been installed on your computer.</p>

        <br /><span class="articleSubHeading">Basics</span>
        <ul>
          <li>Search returns citations that include <b>all</b> your search terms.</li>
          <li>Searches are <b>not</b> case sensitive.</li>
          <li>You may enter search terms in any order.</li>
        </ul>

        <span class="articleSubHeading">Text parsing</span>
        <p>ZDS Search indexes terms using these rules:</p>
        <ul>
          <li>Characters a-z A-Z 0-9 Underbar Ampersand are always valid.</li>
          <li>The # character is valid as the suffix to an letter character e.g.: C#</li>
          <li>The $ character is valid as the prefix to a numeric character e.g.: $23.00</li>
          <li>The . character is valid if located between numeric characters e.g: $23.00</li>
          <li>The + character is valid as a suffix to a letter character or as a prefix or suffix to itself e.g : C++</li>
          <li>Anything else is treated as white space and discarded</li>
        </ul>
        <p>Parse engine configuration is not supported in this version.</p>

        <span class="articleSubHeading">Configuration</span>
        <p>ZDS search can be configured to exclude :</p>
        <ul>
          <li>Terms in specified projects.</li>
          <li>Terms in files with certain extensions.</li>
          <li>Terms that are too short.</li>
          <li>Terms that are too long.</li>
         </ul>
