 ABOUT 
-------

  CDDataBase is a plugin, designed to organize and maintain a catalog of your
  disk collection, including CD-ROMs, harddrives, audio CDs, MP3s, removable
  disks...

  Features in CDDataBase v1.4a now include:
  * Saving full CD tree (file name, size, time, ...)
  * Quick access to real CD
  * Saving information from Mp3 tags
  * Saving disk icon
  * Saving icons for EXE files
  * Commentaries for disks, files, directories
  * Fast file searching (faster than searching on HDD)
  * Simple user interface
  * Low system requirements

  CDDataBase is file system plugin for popular file manager
  Total Commander (http://www.wincmd.com)


 SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
---------------------

  * Pentium 75 MHz or faster processor
  * At least 64 MB of RAM
  * SVGA video cart or better
  * 1 MB free hard drive space
  * Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition,
    Windows 2000 or Windows XP or later
  * Total Commander v5.51 or higher

  (NOTE: Additional hard drive space will be required for database)

  Maybe works on other platforms, test it (please mail about test results)


 INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
------------------------

  1. Create some directory
       (for example c:\Program Files\totalcmd\plugins\CDDataBase)
  2. Unzip file CDDataBase.wfx to this directory
  3. Launch Total Commander and select "Options" from the "Configuration" menu,
       in section "Operation" click the "FS-Plugins" button,
       click on "Add" button when the dialog box "File System Plugins" appears
       and browse file CDDataBase.wfx

  You can now access the plugin in "Network Neighborhood".


 UNINSTALLATION PROCEDURE
--------------------------

  1. Launch Total Commander and select "Options" from the "Configuration" menu,
       in tab "Operation" click the "FS-Plugins" button, select "CDDataBase" in
       "Installed file system plugins" list box when the dialog box
       "File System Plugins" appears and click on "Remove" button
  2. Delete directory with CDDataBase.wfx file


 REGISTRATION
--------------

  You are limited to 30 Days of use for an unregistered version. You may
  register CDDataBase online at a cost of 19 EUR. Your registration will be valid
  for ALL future versions of CDDataBase.


 VERSION HISTORY

  v1.4a - Bugfix.
  v1.4  - Quick access to real CD (thanks, Christian Ghisler for good idea).
  v1.3  - Mp3 tags support. Searching files by commentary, tag information. Small bugfix.
