Kind of a Tutorial for Xnetlib v3.4

o STARTUP

First start up Xnetlib:

csh> xnetlib

o GET A FILE

Click on 'Library'. This should bring up a table of all the available
libraries.

Click on 'lapack'. Use the down arrow key or scrollbar to view the
library description file.

Click on some file. 'lapack/sgesv.f', for instance.

Now click on 'Download'. You will see a list of all the files you have
selected, in this case only one (lapack/sgesv.f).

Click on 'Get Files Now'. The fuel guage indicator will show the progress
of the file copying.

o USE SEARCH

Click on 'Search'. There are 5 different ways to search for an item.
In this example we'll use 'Literal (except case)' for a literal
string search that ignores differences in case.

Click on 'Literal (except case)' to set the mode.

The result of any search (that returns something) is something like
a library description file you might see using Library mode except
it may include parts of any number of library description files.

Type "pvm", then press Return.

You should get back a number of items. Select an interesting file
then click 'Download' to retrieve it.

o USE WHO

Click on 'Who'. This allows you to query the NA-Net White Pages
database.

Click on 'Clear' to get rid of all those words you don't want to
look at.

Type "dongarra", then press Return.

You will probably only get back 1 entry.

Click on 'Modify Search'. This will pop up a listing of what fields
to search against. Click on 'set all', then 'ok'.

Get rid of the "dongarra", and try it with "parallel".
